iPad 2 has just unveiled and it surely caught most people’s eyes, and now here comes another tablet that seems not bad and now it is available in gadget markets of Shenzhen, shanghai and Beijing.. It is Lenovo LePad. To know this tablet more, we got a comparison of these two tablets: iPad 2 and Lenovo LePad.
Lenovo LePad runs on Android 2.2 with 1.3GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixel multi-touch screen, 16GB/32GB SSD, 2.0 megapixels front facing camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Lenovo LePad does not support 3G, and it weighs 760 grams, measures 264×188×13.3mm, slightly thinner than iPad, and thicker than iPad 2.
Lenovo LePad gets rounder corner than that of iPad and it decorated with a piece of brown leather—also prevent it from slipping off hands.
It is hard to say which one is slimmer, but after measurement, LePad is just 0.1mm thinner than iPad.
The Home button is different.

All buttons are located at one side on LePad: power/standby button, volume buttons and rotation lock/unlock.

The LePad also features its own special OS. As you can see in the pictures bellow, LePad has some round icons for the apps and it has its own Android Market which is created by Lenovo and now there are 185 apps for users to download. Surely enough, they will add more apps to its Android Market soon.
